The Challenge

Our client had an established Amazon 1P business in the US and UK but wanted to increase their sales and brand awareness across the EU 5 (France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Netherlands).

How Etopia Helped

Etopia were brought in to lead an EU 5 expansion on behalf of the client. As a first step, Etopia established a new relationship with Amazon’s Stellar Consulting team to help facilitate the set up of new EU Vendor codes and advised the client on terms negotiations and account set up. Part of the EU terms included the introduction of ‘Super PICS’ , a new programme at Amazon. 

Once terms had been agreed, Etopia worked closely with their UK and US teams over a 6-month period to implement a comprehensive EU launch strategy with 85 ASINs launched in each new market. This included: P&L analysis, keyword and content optimisation, content translations, product upload, A+ content and EU brand stores. Once the new accounts were fully live and stock was available, Etopia set up and managed AMS campaigns, working closely on budgets and monitoring ATS (advertising to sales).  

Outcome/ROI

Our client are now fully operational across the EU 5 achieving £300k+ in new POs in the first 3 months.  All products were launched with fully optimised content including professionally translated copy and additional A+ content. Post launch, our AMS campaigns have also started well, generating over €50k+ in sales and we continue to provide the client with detailed analytical reports on campaign performance.
